Y E P.

I continue to shake my head at this entire thing. I'm honestly ashamed to be a gamer whenever I hear more and more about what some of these people have been doing to try to make their point. EVEN IF I HATED THE ENDING (which I was lukewarm to, whatever), I would have NEVER considered DEMANDING AND BRINGING /CHARITY/ AND SHIT INTO IT because it's goddamn insane.

That said, I will admit I could get behind The Doctor randomly showing up in the ending DLC.

Thanks for the comment. I'm glad I knew before all this hullabaloo started that you played ME3, because it kept me from making any broad and probably overly harsh statements about gamers. As someone who has little to no interest in playing ME3 or video games generally, that would have been easy to do, but knowing an ME3 player who wasn't acting like a whiny-ass titty-baby reminded me that these unusually solipsistic and entitled gamers were not necessary representative of the whole.

Yeah, I can assure you (as someone that follows the ME fandom, even), I saw plenty of people mocking the ridiculously overblown responses the ending got. I am all for discussion of whether or not the ending was good, because that's the fun of sharing a media experience (be it video game, movie, TV, books, whatever), but there's discussion and then there's outright, childish hostility and trolling.

I am legitimately going to laugh if this new ending is even 'worse' than the original one.
