More armadillo comic strips

Here are some more Bloom County comic strips featuring the armadillo character introduced a couple of days ago:

Bloom County, 7/20/1984

Bloom County, 7/21/1984

You young'uns out there may not recall that in 1984 there were, improbably, two different people named Fritz vying for the Democratic Presidential nomination: former Vice President Walter "Fritz" Mondale, who ultimately won the right to be beaten by Ronald Reagan, and Sen. Ernest "Fritz" Hollings of South Carolina. (Fritz was a pretty common nickname for Frederick, which happens to be the middle name of both men.)
