6:45 PM: I stop at the Exxon station to fill my tank with gas. I also add a quart of oil.
7:00 PM: I spend a few minutes lying on my bed before changing out of my work clothes into my exercise clothes.
7:30 PM: Dinner! I grill a flounder filet, using some of my homemade low-salt Cajun seasoning. And I steam some broccoli. Yum!
8:00 PM: I hit the gym. 8 PM on Friday is not the most popular time to go to the gym. I've seen more people there at 5 AM than I did last night. I did twenty-five minutes on the recumbent bike, and 20 on the elliptical cross-trainer. That I'm able to do anything on the elliptical is kind of a big deal for me; the first time I tried the elliptical ten weeks ago, I wanted to quit after about a minute, and did quit after two. Losing fifty pounds seems to have made something of a difference in my ability to use the machine without feeling like dying.
9:00 PM: I stop at Wal-Mart on the way home to laundry detergent and cough drops. There are more people at Wal-Mart than at the gym.
9:30 PM: I return home and finish watching the commentary on my new Futurama DVDs. Every episode has a commentary track featuring Matt Groening and various writers, directors, animators, and voice actors.
11:30 PM: I go to bed. I have to get up early to let a plumber into my apartment to check for leaks.
