Travel diary XI

The security checkpoint at Dane County Regional Airport seems rather severely understaffed this morning. The line of passengers waiting to go through the magnetometers is quite long, extending nearly half the length of the terminal. The line is moving pretty fast, though.

Actually, now that I'm closer to the checkpoint, I can see the problem isn't a lack of personnel; it's a lack of equipment. There are only two magnetometers, which is insufficient for the number of people travelling today. Good thing I'm in no hurry.
