Advent 2011: Season's Greetings

I was unfamiliar with Charley Harper until I ran across his 1982 serigraph print, Armadittos, which depicts a mama armadillo feeding her four baby armadillos. (Armadillos always give birth to identical quadruplets, as you know.) A subsequent Google search indicated he is pretty well known, so shame on me for not knowing of him, I guess. While Armadittos is still available as a signed and numbered print (which would make a lovely gift, if any of you happen to have a couple hundred bones lying around), but strangely it seems not to have been made into a holiday greeting card. There's a wide selection of other Harper works available on holiday cards, though, including this lovely cardinal, which is part of the Birds of the Holiday Season Boxed Assortment.
