Advent 2011: May this Christmas Season hold many joys for you

I received this card from my friends at Catoctin Presbyterian Church in Waterford, Virginia, where I was a member for about nine years. I only stopped going because my car broke down; I couldn't afford to repair or replace it, so I was forced to relocate to the eastern part of the county, close to where I worked. If there had been a way for me to get to and from Leesburg in the evening and on weekends, I could have continued to go there, but Loudoun Transit stopped running at 7:00 PM on weekdays and didn't run at all on weekends. (Because, you know, people without cars never have to go anywhere in the evening or on weekends.) But no other members lived in the eastern part of the county, and it was just too far away to ask anyone to pick me up or take me home. It's too bad, I loved that little church.

May this Christmas Season hold many joys for you
