Anyway! The point is that these cards are thoroughly Chicagoan in nature. Indeed, according to the label on the back, the name of the illustration on the front of the card is Twirl Girl Over Chicago. And sure enough, there are quite a few Windy City landmarks pictured here: the Giant Wheel at Navy Pier; the Franklin Street Bridge; Marina City; the Willis (nee Sears) Tower; the John Hancock Center; the Aon Center; Cloud Gate (a.k.a. The Bean); Soldier Field; the El; the Chicago Water Tower; one of the Art Institute lions; Lake Michigan; and a couple other things I can't immediately identify. Hard to believe the Picasso isn't there somewhere, but I suppose that having too many iconic landmarks to fit into one illustration is not a bad problem for a city to have.
