But now I have a new one. Well, "new." At my agency, vendors don't get new equipment; we just get what happens to be left over. That's why my PC is a PII-450. Which may not sound like much, but it was a heck of a step up from the P-133 I got when I started here in 2001. Anyway, my "new" monitor is a 19" Dell. I have no idea where it came from; this agency uses Compaq computers almost exclusively. Nevertheless, it is what it is. I have mixed feelings about it; on the one hand, it's bigger than my last monitor, which was a wee fifteen inches. On the other hand, the old one was an LCD screen, and those are inherently cooler. Also, the glare on the screen is really bad. The downside of sitting next to a window.
