Pi Day and the Ides of March (belated)

What with all the excitement over the return of Community, I almost forgot this beloved (by me) March 15 tradition! And then I stopped to watch the episode and I did forget. Oops.

Beware!

If it's not immediately clear to you why I am wearing a toga, 0this post has all the details you could possibly want and probably many, many more.

Another thing I forgot was to observe Pi Day here on LiveJournal. I made a Spotify playlist to commemorate the occasion. Basically, it's an expansion of a list I made last year, only instead of doing eight digits of pi, I did FIFTY digits. That is, 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510. Toward the end, I started combining digits, so there are only 30 songs on it, but whatever.

If you have Spotify, you can listen to the playlist there. If not, I'll list all the songs under the cut and you can try and track them down on YouTube or something. Or just sign up for Spotify. It's free for Facebook users, though you have to listen to ads every few songs.
