I've decided that I'm going to try to start making regular posts to my LJ again. This may have been self-evident to a certain degree, but I'm explicitly mentioning it so as to make clear that this is intended to be a sustained effort, not just a transitory spasm of posting. We'll see how well I do at keeping up with it.
Well, that's one month down. I feel good about that! It's a challenge, trying to think of something to post every day. Wikipedia is helpful in that regard, as should be obvious from the two January entries about people's birthdays. And doing a weekly arts roundup helps too, since I don't have to give much thought about what I'm going to post on Sunday, and I can write most of it during the week.
Also helpful: stealing the intellectual property of little kids I know. To wit:
My young friend Lola and I drew this picture of me after church last Sunday. First, she drew the head. I added the hair and beard. Then she added the facial features, and I added the body. An excellent likeness, I think.
