I was back in Iowa two weekends ago for a wedding. I was only there for a day, but it reminded me how much I really liked it there. And in the last ten years, Cedar Rapids has shifted from a blue-collar to a white-collar community. And I actually have marketable skills now. And I've found myself seriously thinking about moving back.
I don't know. It's just barely past the idle thought stage. But that it's there at all is interesting. I've been back several times since I graduated, so I don't know why this time the idea has taken root.
