Apparently I'm a Buffy/Willow shipper. I always thought I was more of a Buffy/Xander man myself, but quizzes don't lie. Even quizzes that are as badly-written as this one.
Speaking of fandoms that have an unfortunate tendency to attract crazy shippers and bad fan fiction writers, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling participated in a web chat last week to celebrate World Book Day. There are a few tidbits about forthcoming books and some new information about the characters to found in the chat transcript. For some reason, no one asked any questions about Susan Bones, but being something of a crazy shipper in my own right when it comes to this topic, I was interested in the following questions and answers:
hermione 3: Will Harry and Hermione will be together? *sight*
JK Rowling replies -> lol Not saying... but you've had enough clues by now, surely?
polly weasley: Will Harry fall for another girl in book six, or will he be too busy for romance?
JK Rowling replies -> He'll be busy, but what's life without a little romance?
The key word in the first response is "clues." All the clues point to Hermione getting together with Ron, not Harry. And even if all that has been a red herring, there haven't been any clues to suggest a Harry/Hermione romance. So my interpretation is that Rowling is telling us here that the answer to hermione3's question is no, Harry and Hermione will not be together.
While Rowling seems to suggest that Harry won't be romantically involved with Hermione, the answer to polly weasley's question suggests that he will be romantically involved with someone. I think Susan Bones is as likely a candidate as anyone, and more likely than most, especially given her similar family history (her grandparents and her uncle were killed by Voldemort) and her re-appearance in Order of the Phoenix. (Her appearance in the first movie as the only student shown being sorted other than Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco also may be a clue to her future importance, though that may also have something to do with the character having been portrayed by the director's daughter.) Of course, Rowling doesn't rule out the possibility that Harry might hook up with another male, but I think that's unlikely given his (admittedly brief) relationship with Cho Chang.
Anyway, the point of all this is that if you like Harry Potter, you should check out the World Book Day chat transcript. And you might want to look at the Harry Potter Personality Quiz, which analyzes your personality according to the Myers-Briggs classifications, and matches you with a character from the Potterverse with the same personality type. I came out as an INTJ, which is not inconsistent with past results using the Myers-Briggs system, and was matched with... Severus Snape. That's not good.
