In the news

Here's something I've never seen before: a downloadable computer braille ASCII file of a news story that can be sent to any standard braille embosser. First, I didn't know there was such a thing as a computer braille ASCII file. Second, I've never seen a web site that offers their content in Braille. Third, if I had ever heard of the first thing, I wouldn't have guessed that the first web site I ever saw offering such a service would be the Caspar Star Tribune. Anyway, it's a neat service.

Speaking of news, I turned on the TV this evening to see Shawn Yancey of Fox 5 News reporting on a big house fire in Howard County. When they switched to footage of the burning house, the Chyron threw up the following caption in huge white letters: MANSION DESTORYED. Nice.

Don't forget you can still vote in my iTunes poll! Speaking of which, I'll give a shiny dime to anyone who can identify the method I used to order the nominated songs.
