Angel is off to a really strong start this season. I was really impressed by the season premiere last week. In my experience, it's rare that the second half of a two-part story improves on the first half -- witness, for example, any two-part episode of Star Trek: the Next Generation -- but "Deep Down" was approximately one grillion times better than "Tomorrow." From WUSA 9 News:

Fairfax County police are investigating a possible link between a shooting in Falls Church and the sniper attacks. A woman was fatally shot just before 9:30 pm in the Home Depot parking lot of Seven Corners Shopping Center. Police have closed off roads in the area, where routes 7 and 50 come together.

It may be worth pointing out here that this is less than two miles from the gas station I went to last Thursday because I thought it might be too dangerous to go to one closer to the Interstate.
