So I finally got around to watching Haunted last night. Pretty good! It's got to be hard at this point in history to put a fresh spin on the "troubled LA private detective" genre, but the "I see dead people" angle is not uninteresting, and one that works well with the noirish atmosphere required of most LA 'tec stories. I'm not sure what I think of having the bad ghost as a regular character though. He sure is creepy though.

Matthew Fox was good in the lead role, but I think he would look better (and I can't believe I'm saying this) with a little stubble. The ex-wife is nice to look at, but her character could use some development. Likewise the cop. The coroner was a fun character; I hope to see more of him in future episodes.

The only problem I foresee with Haunted is finding time to watch the damn thing. I'm already pretty heavily committed on Tuesdays.
