Space man I can deal with

Once again I have shirked my duty as a citizen.  I did not watch the vice-presidential debate.  I watched Gilmore Girls instead, and a couple episodes of The Simpsons.  A wise choice, I think.  By most accounts, both Cheney and Edwards lost steam in the second half of the debate, whereas the second half of Gilmore Girls was very good. Not quite as good as the first half, of course, because how could anything be better than the scene at Sniffy's? Mrs. Landingham! Whores! Dead puppies! The story of how Luke and Lorelei met, and the horoscope in the wallet! Great, great stuff. I might have changed one thing, though: when Luke asked Lorelei if she was scared, I think I would have smash-cut directly to them in bed together, instead of panning over to them in bed. Still, me like.

On the Rory front, I like Marty, but I don't like Loggins, who reminds me a bit too much of Tristan, whom I never liked.

One reason I skipped the debate was that I figured that if anything interesting happened, I would hear about it later.  And I was right, because I've already heard about Cheney advising people to visit factcheck.com for the truth about Halliburton.  Go on, click on the link.  Best mistake ever.
