  3. Astroworld, Houston
  4. Sea World, San Antonio
  5. Big Bend National Park
  6. La Villita, San Antonio
  7. East Texas Oil Museum, Kilgore
  8. Fair Park, Dallas

I've been to the Alamo. It was not exciting, which I found very disappointing. It was just there.

The river walk across the street, though? Beautiful and very fun. I would suggest not wearing high heeled sandals, but you probably wouldn't do that, anyway.

You left of Galveston! In Galveston, they have a really great museum devoted entirely to the Hurrican of 1900 that almost killed everyone on the island.

It may not have been listed among the interesting places to visit in the World Book Encyclopedia entry about Texas, but even if it was, I chose the ten for my list by taking every ninth place listed or something like that.
