Artistic advent: The Nativity

Today's Advent artwork is dedicated to escap1974, who sent me a lovely Christmas card—featuring artwork by Fra Angelico—several days ago. I've been trying to thank people in the order in which I received their cards, but I overlooked hers because she signed and addressed the card with her real name, and I mistook her for someone else I know with the same first name and last initial. But yesterday, when I actually read the return address, I realized my mistake. Sorry, and thanks for the card!

Albrecht Dürer (1471–1528)

As promised, another work by Albrecht Dürer. This one doesn't have a monkey in it, so obviously it's not as good as the other one, but it has its charms.
