Today's performances were a bit of mixed bag.  The matinee was kind of flat but we kicked the shit out of the evening performance.  Part of the problem with the matinee is that it had a different cast.  That makes some sense -- it would be really hard for the lead dancers to do two performances in the same day -- but the matinee cast just wasn't as good.  I'll have more to say about this tomorrow. To tired to be cogent right now.

We got a couple of nice reviews in the Washington Post and the Washington Times.  The Post said, "It was sung with clear and exuberant brilliance by the Cathedral Choral Society and the Children's Chorus of the Cathedral Schools (conducted by the Society's director, J. Reilly Lewis)."  And the Times said, "the Cathedral Choir and soloists under J. Reilly Lewis' incisive direction, added immeasurably to the pleasure of the evening."  Not sure why the Times referred to us as "the Cathedral Choir" when she referred to us by the correct name earlier in the review. Oh well.
