Sandro Botticelli (1446–1510)
The Adoration of the Magi
tempera and oil on panel
National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.
This is a huge painting—26.75 inches by 40.2 inches—so this image of it doesn't really do it justice. Assuming you can't go to the National Gallery and see it in person (it's in West Main Floor Gallery 7), you need to look at the detail images to understand what a magnificent work of art it is.
