Artistic Advent: Los Reyes Magos

Today's Advent artwork is dedicated to my nephew David, who turns ten today! Man, I remember visiting him in the hospital on the day he was born. Time flies.

Well, so that is that. As of today, the Christmas season is officially over. Today is the 12th day of Christmas, also known as Epiphany or, in Mexico and Puerto Rico (and in parts of the United States with large Hispanic populations), Three Kings Day. And with the end of the Christmas season comes the end of my Artistic Advent project. Appropriately, it concludes with one of my favorites. As soon as I found it during my “discovery phase,” I knew I had to include it, which happened with only four other works. Speaking of the discovery phase, would anyone like to see full list of artworks I considered for this project? Let me know in the comments.

I hope everyone enjoyed this little project; I certainly had a lot of fun preparing it. Time to start thinking about a project for Advent 2005; November 27 is only 324 days away!
