I didn't know you liked Midnight Oil, John! They were the first band I saw in concert live. Did you know Peter Garrett was elected to Federal Parliament in the last election? Seems a bit odd, really, coming after his anti-establishment, anti-government stance, but there you go.

I have a special affection for late 80s/pre-grunge rock, so of course I like Midnight Oil. I'm really not very familiar with their work outside of Deisel and Dust and Blue Sky Mine, but those are both great albums.

I did know that Peter Garrett had been elected to Parliament, and in fact as I was preparing this list, I was wondering if he was still a member. Thanks for clearing that up!
