A Capitol Fourth X

You know what would be cool? If they had the Sousaphone player they had on earlier during the Sharon Lawrence number come out and do the piccolo solo in Stars and Stripes Forever.

But no, they're having the piccolos do it. How dull.

Oh, the CAS is back. Never heard Stars and Stripes with a choral accompaniment before. I didn't even know it had words.

And another Sousa march. Can't remember the name of this one though. Would have killed PBS to put some chyrons up on the screen to identify the music as it's being played? I mean, yeah, that's what Barry Bostwick is there for, but where's Barry Bostwick now when I need him?
