Ten random things: July 15

Ten interesting facts about Susan Bones and the Bones family:

  1. Susan and Harry share the same Herbology class.
  2. Susan's aunt, Amelia Susan Bones, is head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic.
  3. Susan was possibly only the second Hogwarts student to learn Harry could produce a corporeal Patronus.
  4. Susan's uncle, Edgar Bones, and his family were killed by Death Eaters during the first war.
  5. Acting in concert with three of her fellow Hufflepuffs and two Ravenclaws, Susan hexed Draco Malfoy, Gregory Goyle, and Vincent Crabbe on the Hogwarts Express following their fifth year at Hogwarts.
  6. Tonks considers Amelia Bones to be fair and honest.
  7. Susan disliked the attention she received after the Daily Prophet reported that some of her relatives had been killed by Death Eaters.
  8. Edgar Bones is widely considered to have been a great wizard.
  9. Aside from Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco, Susan was the only Hogwarts student seen being sorted in the film adaptation of the first novel.
  10. Susan and Harry are totally going to get married and have babies.

Regarding number three, Dumbledore told Harry and Hermione not to tell anyone what happened when they went back in time to rescue Sirius in Prisoner of Azkaban. It wouldn't have been out of character for Harry to have told Ron about it anyway, but it's doubtful he told anyone else, so at worst Susan was the third (or fourth, if you count Harry himself) Hogwarts student to know of Harry's ability to produce a corporeal Patronus.
