This has been a strange summer, weather-wise. Summer days in Washington are usually pretty predictable: a hot and humid morning and afternoon, followed by an early evening thunderstorm and a cooler and less humid evening. But we've seen very few thunderstorms this summer, which is a pity because we need those storms to keep the place habitable. Oh well, that's what AC is for.
