Ten random things: Reader Request Month, day 42

Ten toy museums:

  1. Cumberland Toy and Model Museum (Cockermouth, England)
  2. Glendale Toy Museum (Glendale, Isle of Skye, Scotland)
  3. World's Largest Toy Museum (Branson, Mo.)
  4. National Farm Toy Museum (Dyersville, Iowa)
  5. The Official Marx Toy Museum (Glen Dale, W.V.)
  6. Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City (Kansas City, Mo.)
  7. The Eugene Field House and St. Louis Toy Museum (St. Louis, Mo.)
  8. Japan Toy Museum (Kanzaki-gun Hyogo, Japan)
  9. Buenos Aires Toy Museum (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
  10. Pollock's Toy Museum (London, England)

I think the lesson that cam be learned from this (which was composed for rustydog, who wanted to see the Isle of Skye mentioned in a list), it's that if you go to a) Missouri, or b) any town named Glendale, you have a reasonably good chance of running into a toy museum. In fact, if there's such a place as Glendale, Mo., I'll bet there's nothing there except a whole bunch of toy museums.
