Word on the street is that several of the people who work in the building pictured on this card are due for an unpleasant New Year's surprise in the form of a plea deal for corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Abramoff is expected to testify against several Members of Congress; no one knows for sure who he'll finger (if, indeed, the plea deal happens), but it's a safe bet that Tom Delay and Bob Ney will be among them. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Grover Norquist and Ralph Reed implicated as well. I'd be pretty happy just with Delay, but I'll take as much as Abramoff can give.
