This painting reminds me a little bit of a picture I took in Florida in 2004. I'm no James McNeil Whistler, of course, but I think it's one of the best pictures I've ever taken.
And now for something completely different: speaking of James McNeill Whistler, I cannot see that name without hearing Graham Chapman saying it in the "Oscar Wilde" sketch, which I first heard on the Monty Python album Matching Tie and Handerchief. It's funnier now that I know what "a dose of the clap" is.
