Dial-up users beware: lots of images behind the cut!

Today's list is for amandajane5, who wanted to see Lois Lane in a list. Full disclosure: I deviated from the schedule for this one. amyjtoo's second request was supposed to appear today, and amandajane5's tomorrow, but I decided to switch them because the former's was well-suited to be fulfilled with an art post.

Lists of comic book covers are something of a tradition during Reader Request Month; two years ago yesterday, I posted a list of ridiculous Silver Age DC Comics covers; last year, a list of comic books with females in swimsuits on the cover. All these comic book covers came from the Grand Comics Database, with the following exceptions: no. 2 came from Mike Sterling's Progressive Ruin; no. 3, from Terry Moore's strangersinparadise.com (and let me tell you, it was much harder than it should have been to find an image of the art cover to that comic, even though it's almost infinitely superior to the photo cover); and no. 9, which came from Wikipedia.
