A Letter to Santa Claus
Dear Santa,
Being a grandpa, I need no toys
No roller blades like little boys
No need of tinsel covered trees
I have a cover to warm my knees
Bring to me no fancy clothes
I have lots of socks for my toes
Shirts and jackets from the store
Believe me Santa I need no more
Have a coat for when it rains
Need no trinkets or electric trains
No need of horns or noisy drums
Have a sweeper to clean up crumbs
Yet should you happen by my way
On the eve of Christmas Day
Leave no tapes of holiday tunes
Leave paper plates and plastic spoons
