Ten cover songs in my music library:
- David Lee Roth, "Just a Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody" (originally recorded by Louis Prima)
- Aimee Mann and Michael Penn, "Two of Us" (originally recorded by the Beatles)
- Alien Ant Farm, "Smooth Criminal" (originally recorded by Michael Jackson)
- The Honeydrippers, "Sea of Love" (originally recorded by Phil Phillips)
- Brian Setzer Orchestra, "Jump, Jive, an' Wail" (originally recorded by Louis Prima)
- Social Distortion, "Ring of Fire" (originally recorded by Anita Carter)
- Great Big Sea, "End of the World" (originally recorded by R.E.M.)
- Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, "Some of Shelly's Blues" (originally recorded by Michael Nesmith)
- They Might Be Giants, "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" (originally recorded by the Four Lads)
- Sheryl Crow, "You Can Close Your Eyes" (originally recorded by James Taylor)
Technically, Louis Prima was not the first person to record either "Just a Gigolo" or "I Ain't Got Nobody," but it was him to first combined them as a medley, and it was his version that David Lee Roth covered.
