Ten random things: February 9

Ten castles protected and promoted by the National Trust of Scotland:

  1. Craigievar Castle, Aberdeenshire
  2. Alloa Tower, Clackmannanshire
  3. Culross Palace, Fife
  4. Strome Castle, Stromemore
  5. Brodie Castle, Moray
  6. Culzean Castle, South Ayrshire
  7. House of the Binns, West Lothian
  8. House of Dun, Angus
  9. Brodick Castle, North Ayrshire
  10. Falkland Palace, Falkland

I feel bad about postng a list of Scottish castles that contains neither Hogwarts nor McDuck Castle, but they have their own forms of protection and thus have no need of the services offered by the National Trust. And speaking of Hogwarts, do you suppose the House of the Binns is Professor Binns' ancestral home? Seems logical to assume so.
