Ten random things: April 19

Ten reasons I probably would not be hired by the Department of Justice:
  1. Stated that people who voted for the re-election of George Bush "chose poorly"
  2. Distributed campaign signs for Gov. Parris Glendenning (D-Md.)
  3. Applied a John Kerry sticker to my bumper during 2004 Presidential campaign
  4. Worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee
  5. Interned for and employed by U.S. Sen. Donald W. Riegle, Jr. (D-Mich.)
  6. Wrote that Republican political operatives are "scumbags"
  7. Claimed to be "disappointed" by the election of Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.)
  8. Attended inaugural celebration for Bill Clinton in 1993
  9. Served on the staff of for U.S. Sen. Paul Wellstone (D-Minn.)
  10. Repeatedly refered to Gov. Jim Gilmore (R-Va.) as "Governor Stupidhead" in my online journal
Read this letter, sent to the chairmen of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees from "a group of concerned Department of Justice employees," for context. Via No Comment and Political Animal.
