Ten random things: January 24

Ten U.S. Presidential memorials:

  1. John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C.
  2. Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, Lincoln City, Ind.
  3. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, Washington, D.C
  4. James A. Garfield National Historic Site, Mentor, Ohio
  5. Ulysses S. Grant Memorial, Washington, D.C.
  6. Theodore Roosevelt Island, Washington, D.C.
  7. Hoover Tower, Stanford, Calif.
  8. Washington Monument, Washington, Md.
  9. Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington, D.C.
  10. Harry S Truman Scholarship Program, Washington, D.C.

20 USC 42 § 2003 defines the Truman Scholarship as the sole Federal memorial to President Truman. Is that fair? I think not. I mean, the James Madison Fellowship Program (20 USC 57) isn't the sole Federal Memorial to James Madison.
