  6. Salinan (Hokan)
  7. Quiripi (Eastern Algonquian)
  8. Baicawa (Maipurean)
  9. Ohlone (Costanoan)
  10. Yahi (Hokan)

There are thirty Algonquian languages; 19 of them are extinct, and the other 11 are classified as endangered. A related language, Yurok, is thought to have only 10 remaining speakers.
