Last night after work, I went in for one of my three weekly weigh-ins. (Actually, in the three weeks I've been on the program, I've never been weighed in more than twice in a week, thanks to my trip to Chicago and some snow-related early closings.) The result: 298.5 pounds! Whoo! And hoo!
My next target weight is 285.5 pounds. At that weight, I will be ten percent lighter than when I started.
In related news, I started working out this week. Unofficially I started last week, when my car was snowed in and I had to walk a mile to and from the bus stop each morning. But this week I started taking advantage of the gym privileges that are included in the Healthy Inspirations membership fee. Thursday morning I did 30 minutes on the treadmill; this morning I did thirty on a recumbent bike. Also this morning, I met with a personal trainer who recommended certain weight training machines and showed me how to use them. Whee!
On, and I made a new weight loss icon! Call it an NGIP.
