Ten random things: September 8

Ten shopping malls I've been to:

  1. Old Capitol Town Center, Iowa City, Iowa
  2. Tower City Center, Cleveland, Ohio
  3. The Court at King of Prussia, King of Prussia, Pa.
  4. The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, Arlington, Va.
  5. The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, Nev.
  6. Mazza Gallerie, Washington, D.C.
  7. Perimeter Mall, Dunwoody, Ga.
  8. Arundel Mills Mall, Hanover, Md.
  9. Horton Plaza, San Diego, Calif.
  10. Stratford Square Mall, Bloomingdale, Ill.

Full disclosure: when I was there, Old Capitol Town Center was called Old Capitol Mall. Old Capitol Town Center is, somewhat unusually for a mall so named, actually located in the center of town. Not a town called "Old Capitol," but consider by way of contrast, the mall in which I work, Dulles Town Center. It's not in the center of a town called Dulles, nor in a town called Dulles, nor in a town at all. So by that standard, Old Capitol Town Center is a pretty accurate name.
