accomplishedThis icon will be familiar to people who've been reading this LiveJournal since I started it. It was the first animated icon I ever made. But it had a problem: it was huge, exceeding the maximum allowed size for an icon by approximately 140K. So I set it aside.
Since then, I've learned more about making animated GIFs. Specifically, I learned some tricks to optimize them so that they were smaller. So I tweaked the palette, reconfigured the text, and when all was said and done, the new icon was a trim 33K, well under the size limit. So here it is, at long last making its debut as an official LiveJournal icon. Yay!
