The Renwick Gallery is currently hosting a Lino Tagliapietra retrospective, and in an ideal world I would be showing one of the pieces being featured in that exhibition, but the Renwick has the high-res images of those works locked down on a password-protected FTP site. Damn their hides! I was, however, able to find this lovely piece on the website of the International Expositions of Sculpture Objects and Functional Art; it will be on display at the SOFA Expo in November at Navy Pier in Chicago, so if you have 15 bucks to spare, you might consider going to see it in person.
