Advent 2008: Mele Kalikimaka

December 7 is, of course, Pearl Harbor Day, so the thing to say today is "Mele Kalikimaka," which as you may know is Hawaii's way of saying Merry Christmas. The most familiar version of this R. Alex Anderson classic is by Bing Crosby and the Andrew Sisters, but I prefer this Bette Midler version from her Grammy Award-nominated Christmas album Cool Yule.
