You never know what seemingly insignificant action is going to have a disproportionately large impact on your life. I performed one such seemingly insignificant action on this date back in 2000: I registered for the forums on a website called Mighty Big TV, known nowadays as Television Without Pity. As a result of that snap decision nine (!) years ago, I've made many good friends, traveled all over the country, sung karaoke, taken a Caribbean cruise, and got one of these:



And of course a huge number of my LiveJournal friends are people I met via MBTV/TWoP. So if you're one of those people, let me simply say this: thanks!
