Ten bands Spin magazine assumed, correctly, that I had never heard of:

I perused Spin's list of the 100 Greatest Bands You've (Probably) Never Heard while waiting for a haircut this afternoon, and while I didn't read it all that closely, it seems to me they did a pretty good job; I saw only one band that I had heard of before: Washington D.C.'s own Junk Yard Band. Still, 99 out of 100 is pretty good.
