This has been a weird week, weather-wise. I grew up in Chicago, so I think I know a little bit about unpredictable Spring weather, and even by my standards this week has been remarkably strange. Since last Saturday, the Washington region has experienced the following:
- heavy rain
- temperatures in the low 40s
- temperatures in the upper 80s
- light fog
I don't recall any week quite like this in the eleven years I've lived here. As I write this, it's cool and overcast, and I've heard conflicting reports with regard to whether it will rain later in the day, or clear up. If the past week has been any indication, it'll probably do both. I just hope it's a nice weekend. I'd like to get out for a walk along the canal or, barring that, the W&OD Trail. Exercising at the gym is all well and good, but it's nice to get a little fresh air now and then.
