Interesting news

I see here that the Washington Post is closing its offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, its last three domestic news bureaus. Among the journalists being offered the opportunity to be reassigned to Washington: my least favorite mainstream journalist, Lisa de Moraes, author of the Post's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad TV column. De Moraes never seemed to grasp that she was no longer writing for the Hollywood Reporter, probably because they allowed her to work out of the LA bureau.

I see one of two things happening here. One, she'll relocate to Washington and start covering her beat from a Washingtonian perspective, which is something she should have been doing all along. Or she'll resign to inflict her reporting on the unfortunate readers of some other paper. I'd be satisfied either way.
