So how about them Olympic Games, eh? I actually have not been paying attention to the Games at all, though I did happen to catch a few minutes of a curling match last Thursday. It's a strangely compelling sport, curling. A description of the action—one player slides a rock toward a target, and his or her teammates guide its path by sweeping the ice in front of the sliding rock with brooms—makes it sound like it's to winter sports what Matter-Eater Lad was to the Legion of Super-Heroes, but once you see a match you can hardly stop watching.
