I read something the other day that contained the phrase "a judas kiss," and was reminded of the seventh song on this list, which you've probably never heard of. It was released back in 1988; it didn't make much of an impression, but somehow it made it onto the playlist of one of the Chicago-area radio stations I listened to. I seem to recall it was a small station licensed to Joliet, but I don't remember the call letters. Doesn't matter, I guess; I heard it somewhere, and I liked it. I owned a copy on cassette at one time, but that tape is long gone. But! I was able to find an MP3 of the song on amazon.com, and having listened to it with more mature ears, I still like it a lot. But don't take my word for it; listen for yourself, and let me know what you think.
